Cabinet members debate amendments on Law on Public Investment

Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on Thursday chaired the cabinet’s regular meeting on the development of institutions. The discussion focused on the revised Law on Public Investment which amends and supplements a number of articles of laws relating to the Planning Law.

The Vàm Cống Bridge linking Đồng Tháp Province and Cần Thơ city were connected in September last year. The total investment of VNĐ5.7 trillion (US$271 million) comes from Official Development Assistance (ODA) provided by the South Korean government and reciprocal capital from the Vietnamese Government. Public investment is on top agenda of the cabinet’ meeting on Thurday. — VNA/VNS Photo Huy Hùng
