Việt Nam and Pakistan have worked to set out initiatives and practical, flexible measures to reach the target of US$1 billion in bilateral trade by 2020.

The two countries have also agreed to increase the exchange of business delegations to optimise investment and business opportunities.

Pakistan is the world’s biggest importer of Vietnamese tea, accounting for 32.1 per cent of Việt Nam’s tea exports, or $29.9 million, in the first half of this year. – VNS
